How are van tyres different from car tyres?

Van tyres are made differently to car tyres and feature sidewall reinforcement to support larger loads and last longer. If you have a small LCV or van examine the side of the tyre for the XL (extra load) or RF (reinforced) markings to determine whether the tyres already on your van are reinforced. If you have a larger van you will find load ratings such as 115/113 or 121/119.
